• English percussionist, dancer, DJ and media personality
• He is best known as the maraca player, dancer, and mascot of rock band Happy Mondays
• After the Happy Mondays broke up, he became a member of Shaun Ryder’s next group Black Grape
• He appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2005, in order to pay off his outstanding tax bills, and was voted as the winner of the series.
• He owns a London black cab and on the TV show Pimp My Ride it was customised with twenty speakers, eight amps, two DVD players and fifteen TV screens. The sign saying TAXI on the top was changed to PIMP, and it had purple paint on the outside.
• He took part in a special episode of Bargain Hunt against Jarvis Cocker – initially he had won with a profit of £8 but when it was discovered his girlfriend had bought two of the items Javis Cocker was made the winner and he had to give the £8 back!
• He is a beekeeper and beer brewer in his spare time
• He appeared on Celebrity MasterChef and in Dancing on Ice in 2022
• He stood as a local candidate in the 2015 UK General Election and came 6th
• During the 3rd lockdown, in 2021, he began operating as an online fitness instructor producing content on YouTube (Buzzin’ with Bez)
