Whilst working in a DIY shop, he was persuaded to attend the BBC Clothes Show Live where he was scouted by a modelling agency after being convinced to do a catwalk by a friend
In 2010 he was the co-host of the American series: Skating with the Stars
He has hosted All Star Family Fortunes, Just the Two of Us, Beat the Star, The Whole 19 Yards (with Caroline Flack), Splash!, and 1000 Heartbeats
He is married to Tess Daly and they have two daughters
He took part in Series 20 of I’m a Celebrity, leaving on Day 20 after finishing behind the winner Giovanna Fletcher and runner up Jordan North.

He has made a number of cameos, appearing in Shaun of the Dead and Keith Lemon: The Film. He also made an uncredited appearance as a ‘feasting hall guest’ in Hercules
He enjoys flying model aircraft and drones
He is a huge fan of American football and he played for the London Warriors as a ‘defensive back’
